7:14 p.m. Monday - William Duncan, 65, of 118 Third Ave. was arrested for driving under the influence. Police reported Duncan has two prior DUI convictions since 1996.
12:16 a.m. Monday - Alfred W. Sutton, no age given, of Butler was arrested for allegedly shoplifting clothing and electronic items at the Wal-Mart store at Butler Commons. Sutton, who is charged with retail theft, was placed in the Butler County Prison on a probation detainer from Northumberland County.
Saturday - A shoebox containing personal documents and $30 in coins was taken in a burglary between Nov. 30 and Saturday at the Oak Hill Drive home of Clint Warman.
8:20 p.m. Monday - An unknown object thrown off the West Park Road overpass struck and cracked a window of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 79 in Worth Township. Police did not identify the driver of the tractor-trailer, which is owned by C and D Leasing of Sewickley, Allegheny County.4:30 p.m. Monday - A car driven by Daniel Martin, 26, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, struck a tree along Browns Mill Road in Forward Township.3:40 p.m. Monday - A Husqvarna chainsaw was found along Route 308 in Center Township. The owner can claim the property at the barracks.Sunday - An unknown burglar between 4 p.m. Saturday and 4 a.m. Sunday broke into the Lilac Lane home of Richard Piper in Brady Township and took an Xbox video game system and 10 games.Sunday - Someone between midnight and 1 a.m. set fire to a mailbox and newspaper tube at a Sunbury Road home in Slippery Rock Township.9:15 a.m. Saturday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Norma Double, 57, of Chicora and a car driven by Jessica Blice, 18, of Rimersburg, Armstrong County, collided on Route 68 in Chicora. Double, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital and released. Double was cited for illegally entering or crossing a road.2:30 p.m. Thursday - Vehicles driven by Michael Keith, no age given, of Butler and Donald Slabe, no age given, of Cowansville collided at Route 422 and Keck Road, Summit Township. Slabe was treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.
