Michael and Grace Neff of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Runway Restaurant. They also celebrated with a family weekend at Cook's Forest in July.

The former Grace Barnes married Neff on Nov. 6, 1954, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in North Oakland.

They have five children, Michael Neff and James Neff, both of Chicora; Rosemary Whitmire and Martha Birch, both of Butler; and Dr. Cynthia Neff of Brackenridge.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Neff is retired from Spang Magnetics. He is a life member of the Chicora VFW.

Mrs. Neff is a homemaker and baby-sits her grandchildren.

The couple belongs to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church where Mrs. Neff is a member of the Christian Mothers.
