Jen Robinson scored 14 points and also had 10 rebounds as the Knoch girls basketball team edged Peters Township 54-47 in high school girls basketball Monday.

Nicole Reiser led the Knights (1-1) with 15 points and also had five steals, and Maria Frey scored 13 points in Knoch's balanced attack.

Butler's girls had four individuals and two relay units qualify for the WPIAL meet during a 98-88 loss to Indiana over the weekend.The Golden Tornado boys suffered a 90-85 loss to Indiana.Divers Liz Rhodaberger (188.45) and Jess Schnur (186.85) posted WPIAL-qualifying scores.
