Butler Catholic defeated Butler in the championship game of a sixth-grade basketball tournament last weekend at Butler High School.
Grant Foley won an award for 3-point shooting while Bobby Swartout and Kyle Gilliland took home honors for foul shooting.
Butler Catholic won all four games it played in the seven-team competition.
Other team members include John Barkus, Sam Cleary, Dominic Farmer, Joey Friel, Andrew Reges, Vincent Schmidt, Corbin Seezox and Billy Smith.
Coaches are Rob Swartwout and Dave Schmidt.
In the fifth grade competition, Butler beat Shaler for the title. Nate Snodgrass won an award for foul shooting.
MONTROSE, Colo. - One day after a jet carrying NBC Sports chairman Dick Ebersol crashed during a snowstorm while taking off, authorities said Monday they had removed a body from the wreckage matching that of his 14-year-old son, Edward "Teddy" Ebersol.Two crewmen also died in the crash and another was injured. Dick Ebersol and his 21-year-old son Charles survived. NBC said in a statement that Dick and Charlie Ebersol were in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery.Coroner Mark Young said the body thought to be that of the youngest Ebersol was found underneath the wreckage.Authorities had no immediate word on the cause of the crash.
