American Legion Post 243, West Sunbury, would like to thank all those who supported their gun raffle and the Ham and Turkey Shoots, which ended Nov. 17.

Both were great successes. All proceeds benefited the scholarship fund.

The Women of the Moose Chapter 313 of Chicora wish to thank all of our Moose members and friends, Friedman's Supermarket, Target and Wal-Mart for their efforts in our Veterans Day project at the Mechling/Shakley Veterans Center.

With your support and generosity, we were able to deliver many needed items to our veterans.
