Navy Lt. j.g.
John Wilkinson,
son of Martha and Randal Wilkinson of Seven Fields, was recently designated a Naval Aviator while serving with Training Air Wing One, Merdian, Miss.
Wilkinson was presented with the coveted "Wings of Gold," marking the culmination of months of flight training.
Wilkinson, a 1997 graduate of Westfield High School of Houston, Texas, joined the Navy in July 1997.

Marine Corps Reserve Lance Cpl.
Luke Homison,
son of Elcira and Mark W. Homison of Cranberry Township, recently reported for duty with Marine Light Attack Squadron 775, Detachment A, Marine Aircraft Group 49, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Johnstown.
Homison is a 2000 graduate of Quigley Catholic High School of Baden and joined the Marine Corps Reserve in January 2001.

Marine Corps Pfc.
Lukas Snyder,
son of Kimberly Snyder of Saxonburg, recently completed the personnel clerk course at Personnel Administration School, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
As a personnel clerk, he will be responsible for providing enlisted personnel with information and counseling about Marine Corps jobs, opportunities for general education and training, promotion requirements, rights, and benefits. Snyder also will keep records up to date, prepare reports, type letters, and maintain files.
Snyder, a 2002 graduate of Knoch High School, joined the Marine Corps in December 2003.
