3:25 p.m. Monday - Peter Herman, 57, of Butler suffered minor injuries when he ran his truck into the rear of a station wagon driven by Bernadine Leasure, 72, of Renfrew. Leasure's car was stopped at the intersection of Route 68 and Main Street in Forward Township. She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. Her condition is not known.11:50 a.m. Monday - Mary Reynolds reported a white female in her 30s entered Reynolds' Saxonburg home and took about $500. Police are looking for a suspect.12:45 a.m. Sunday - Robert Lavelle, 50, of Jeanette was arrested for driving under the influence after his truck hit a car driven by Frank Hulick, 24, of Zelienople at the intersection of Interstate 79 and Route 488. Police say Lavelle exited I-79 and failed to stop at the intersection, hitting Hulick. Both Hulick and his passenger, Jillian Dobi, 21, of Greenville, suffered minor injuries. Lavelle was not injured. Charges have been filed at District Justice Clifford Woessner's office.
Monday - Leeroy Patrick Lloyd, 56, of the Rayburn Manor Apartments in Kittanning was found dead in his home. His death appears to have been from natural causes. The Armstrong County Coroner is investigating.Saturday - State police from the Kittanning barracks have found a number of tree stands. Hunters are asked to call the station to identify them at 724-543-2011.About 11 p.m. Friday - Brandi Lynne Richards, 17, of Adrian, has been charged with driving at an unsafe speed, making false reports and driving while not being eligible for a license after a one-vehicle accident on Johns Road. Richards lost control of her car, which left the road and hit a ditch or a pothole. She steered the car back onto the road, but the spinning vehicle flipped onto its roof. Passengers Charles McHenry, 18, of Freeport and Brian Wingard, 15, of Adrian, suffered minor injuries. Richards was treated for minor injuries at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital and released. Charges have been filed with a district justice.
6:30 a.m. Monday - Someone stole the keys from eight school buses and school vehicles at H&W Transportation in Stoneboro, Sandy Lake Township. Cost to replace the keys is estimated at $200.
