Mary Ann Nye, 67, of Pine Township died Monday at her home after an illness.

Born in New Castle Nov. 8, 1936, she was the daughter of Maudress Moore Lawrence and the late Robert Wilson Lawrence.

She was a member of Covenant Community Presbyterian Church, Marshall Township.

Mrs. Nye was the rehab director at Wightman Center for Nursing and Rehab in Squirrel Hill.

Surviving are her husband, Neil M. Nye, whom she married March 16, 1957; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Andrea) Mazur of Gibsonia; three sons, Jeffrey Nye of Austin, Texas, Scott Nye of Warwick, R.I., and Larry Nye of Cranberry Township; her mother of St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars, formerly of Portersville; and two sisters, Mrs. William (Meda) Sonntag of Harmony and Mrs. Jay (Kathy) Bonnani of Plain Grove. Also surviving are five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

NYE - Friends of Mary Ann Nye, who died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday atMcDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Valencia United Presbyterian Church, Sterrett Street, Valencia, with the Rev. Gary Weston, church pastor, and the Rev. J.D. Funyak, pastor of Covenant Community Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township.
