Marjorie Kennedy of Cabot will celebrate her 80th birthday with an open house Sunday at Cabot United Methodist Church.

The former Marjorie Guy was born Nov. 19, 1924, in New Castle. She married H. Eugene Kennedy on June 6, 1952.

She has three children, Mark Kennedy and David Kennedy, both of Cabot, and Roger Kennedy of Butler. She also has eight grandchildren.

Mrs. Kennedy is a homemaker. She also taught home economics classes at Winfield High School.

She is a member of Cabot United Methodist Church.
