Kenneth D. Rhodes

Kenneth D. Rhodes, 56, of Butler died at 9 p.m. Saturday at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born Feb. 6, 1948, in McKeesport, he was the son of Helen Edmundson Rhodes and the late William D. Rhodes Sr.

He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was the owner of Interstate Metal Service.

Mr. Rhodes enjoyed trapshooting, fishing and water skiing.

Surviving are his companion, Kathy Westerman of Butler; his mother of Nokomis, Fla.; and a brother, William D. Rhodes Jr. of New Kensington.

A son preceded him in death.

RHODES - A memorial service for Kenneth D. Rhodes, who died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday atYOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. The Rev. Dr. Wayne Bell, pastor of West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be private.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
