Jack and Elsie Gaiser of Chicora celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at Shakespeare's Restaurant.

The former Elsie McCollough married Gaiser on Sept. 16, 1944.

They have four children, Thomas Gaiser of Bowling Green, Ohio; James Gaiser of East Brady; and Colin Gaiser and Kim Gaiser, both of Chicora.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Gaiser is retired from Witco Chemical. He is a member of the Chicora American Legion.

Mrs. Gaiser is retired from the Karns City School District.

The couple belongs to Karns City United Methodist Church.
