Rose Catherine Welter

Rose Catherine Welter, 69, of Sebring, Fla., died Thursday in Sebring.

She was born May 7, 1935, in Butler.

Mr. Welter moved to Sebring from Hollywood, Fla., in 1989. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Catherine Roman Catholic Church, Sebring.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Norman E. Welter; two daughters, Elaine Wadlinger and Helen Welter, both of Sebring; four sons, Norman Welter Jr. of Dania Beach, Fla., Larry Welter of Hollywood, Fla., Don Welter of Lake Mary, Fla., and Bob Welter of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Rita West of Valencia, Dorothy Kay of Dade City, Fla., and Carolyn McGrady of Fenelton; and six brothers, Jim Wilbert of DuBois, Melvin Wilbert of Valencia and Leroy, Tom, Chuck and Dennis Wilbert, all of Butler.

WELTER - Friends of Rose Catherine Welter, who died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday atSTEPHENSON-NELSON FUNERAL HOME, 4001 Sebring Parkway, Sebring, Fla. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jose Gonzalez officiating. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, Fla.
