3:53 p.m. Friday - A vehicle driven by Alisa Wehr, no age given, of New Castle struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Kathleen Efaw, no age given, of Zelienople, on North Main Street.

7:18 p.m. Monday - Stephen Waratuke, 58, of Kittanning was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 422 in Summit Township.Friday - Assorted tools valued at $100 were taken between 11 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday from a garage in a burglary at the Classic Country Personal Care Home on McGinley Road in Oakland Township.Friday - Compact discs and personal documents were taken from unlocked vehicles at the Thorn Drive homes of Christopher Vicari and Jane Beatty in Oakland Township. The thefts occurred between 11 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday.

3:40 p.m. Tuesday - Police have charged a male juvenile with simple assault after he attempted to stab another student while on the school bus. The names of the suspect and the victim are not being released.4:15 p.m. Tuesday - Lorraine Resinger, 77, of Kennerdell and Paul Coroner, 75, of Emlenton reported someone entered a residence in Elk Township owned by both that had been vacant for three years and smashed windows and doors. Estimated damage is at $500.
