WORTH TWP, Mercer County - These cases were heard Oct. 20 by District Justice Lawrence Silvis:

Olive L. Dora, 31, of Grove City was held for court on two counts of forgery, one count of tampering with public records and one count of interference with child custody. She was arrested on May 5 for forging the custody court order of Judges M. Wherry and E. Fair to prevent Jamie Kaiser from getting custody of his daughter. Dora wanted Kaiser to keep Maria, but later changed her mind and wanted the child back. Dora was released on $3,000 bond.

David K. Wike, 23, of Grove City was held for court on eight counts of bad checks and one count of theft by deception. He was arrested Sept. 27 for depositing money into a National City Bank checking account from closed accounts, and then making several withdrawals totaling about $6,000. He was arraigned on $10,000 bond and released.

Michael C. Johnson, 39, of Hartstown, had two charges of bad checks during a Sept. 29 arrest dismissed.

Dana G. Pektas, 38, of Volant pleaded guilty to a hit-and-run charge in connection with an accident in the Pine Grove Plaza parking lot Sept. 10. She was released on $1,000 bond.
