An Aug. 20 wedding is being planned by Jennifer Mehall of Clarion and Matthew North of Pittsburgh.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dennis and Bruna Mehall of Erie. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Jim and Pat North of Slippery Rock.

The bride-elect graduated in 2000 from McDowell High School and in 2004 from Slippery Rock University. She works at the Clarion University Health Science Education Center in Clarion.

Her fiancé graduated in 1995 from Slippery Rock High School, in 1999 from Slippery Rock University and in 2002 from Miami University. He works for Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
