Geneva to swear in president
BEAVER FALLS - Kenneth A. Smith will be inaugurated Saturday as the 19th president of 155-year-old Geneva College.
Smith, 46, will replace John White, who last summer announced his retirement after 11 years at the helm of the 2,100-student college.
Smith, a 1980 graduate of Geneva and member of its board of trustees for 10 years, has been chairman of the strategy and human resources department in the management school at Syracuse University.
He has a master's degree in economic and social development from the University of Pittsburgh and a doctorate in strategic management from the University of Maryland.
