Kennedy takes down Knights Riverside 30, Summit Academy 16
Colton Davis rushed for 103 yards on 17 carries as the Union High School football team outgained Kennedy Catholic 328-301, but the Golden Knights still fell 46-25 Saturday.
Quarterback Josh Holden had a nice day through the air for the Golden Knights (0-8), competing two passes for 112 yards and a pair of scores to Brett Moore.
Moore finished with three catches for 124 yards.
Clint Lineman scored two touchdowns on the ground.
Riverside 30, Summit Academy 16
- Tyrell Knight scored on touchdown runs of 3 and 44 yards in the final quarter, but the Knights ended their season winless at 0-9.
Riverside led 30-0 at halftime on the arm of Joe DeSanzo, who fired three touchdown passes, one to Alex Vucevich from 9 yards out, a 65-yard bomb to John Adams and a 33-yard strike to Shane Jackson.
DeSanzo was 8-of-9 for 195 yards in the contest. Adams caught two passes for 107 yards.
Knight was 3-of-5 passing for 80 yards. He rushed for 66 more.
