Richard and Janet Wright of Middlesex Township celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at J's Barn Country Inn in Sarver. They will also celebrate with a trip to the Crescent Lodge and Country Inn.

The former Janet Koehler married Wright on Oct. 9, 1954, at First United Methodist Church in Bradford.

They have a daughter, Jan Dalo of Middlesex Township. A son, Bruce Wright, is deceased. They also have two grandchildren.

Wright is retired from Gulf Oil and Saxon Research Systems.

Mrs. Wright is retired from Mellon Bank.

The couple belongs to Mars United Methodist Church and the AARP. They enjoy traveling.
