Laura Pflug of Trinity Oaks Care Center in Ellwood City will celebrate her 100th birthday with a party in the community room of Maple Court.

She was born Oct. 14, 1904, in Fombell. She helped to raise the children of her brother, Roy Pflug, who died in 1935. The children are Francis Pflug of Fombell and Marjorie Mulvey of Harmony. She also has six grandnieces and nephews.

Miss Pflug was house cleaner.

She is a member of St. John's United Evangelical (Burry) Church, where she served for many years as a Sunday school teacher and choir director.

She is interested in fashion and accessories, enjoys embroidery and word puzzles and studies the Bible.
