Janet M. Yingling, 74, of Fincher Lane in Butler Township died at 6 a.m. Wednesday at her home.

Born in Butler, Nov. 29, 1929, she was the daughter of Raymond C. and T. Berniece Ross Nicholas.

She was a 1947 graduate of Butler High School and a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Merrill W. Yingling, whom she married Aug. 26, 1949; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sandra A.) Miller, Mrs. Barry (Donna L.) Pallone and Mrs. Karen L. Lindell, all of Butler; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Carl (Betsy) Marcellus of Butler, and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
