Melanie Hiwiller and Patrick Hilliard, both of Petrolia exchanged wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at Boyers United Methodist Church in Boyers. The Rev. Kathy Soltis officiated. A reception was held at the North Washington Social Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Shirley Hiwiller of Petrolia. Parents of the bridegroom are Jim Hilliard of Eau Claire and Karen Hilliard of Butler.

The matron of honor was Brandi Ealy of Butler. The miniature bride was Erika Hiwiller of West Sunbury. Bridesmaids were Judy Wallace of Hilliards, Heather Glenn of Butler and Kelly Parks of Chicora.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was Doug Hogue of Emlenton. The miniature bridegroom was Brett Hilliard of Petrolia. Ushers included Dan Wallace and Fred Hogue, both of Hilliards, and Justin Nagy of West Sunbury.

The bride attended Moniteau High School. She works for OPM-Center for Investigation Services in Boyers.

The bridegroom attended Moniteau High School. He works for Hunters Truck Sales in Eau Claire.

The couple is making their home in Petrolia.
