Sara Allbee of Karns City and Josh Friters of Greenville were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Aug. 6 at The Atrium in Prospect. The Rev. Carol Robbins officiated. A reception followed at The Atrium.
The bride is the daughter of Elmer and Maggie Allbee of Karns City. Parents of the bridegroom are Tom and Susan Friters of Chicora.
The matron of honor was Hilary Williams of West Sunbury and the maid of honor was Jessica Taylor of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Christina Gavula of Butler, Sarah Smith of Transfer, Heather Pilz of Canonsburg, Emily Paulos of Dormont, Erica Hillwig of Monroeville, Ashley Ernst of Aston, Michele Allbee of Karns City and Erin Gigliotti of Burlington, Ky. The flower girl was McKenna Richards of Ellwood City.
Serving the bridegroom as best men were Joe Magnani of Butler and Greg Ridley of Monroeville. Groomsmen included Josh Bly of Karns City; Josh Anderson of Zelienople; Ryan Bonetto of East Brady; Bryan Greenawalt of Butler; Jimmy Edwards of San Angelo, Texas; Matt Ernst of Aston; Brian Allbee of Huntsville, Ala.; and Eric Allbee of Karns City. The ring bearer was Connor Richards of Ellwood City.
The bride graduated in 1996 from Karns City High School and in 2000 from Edinboro University. She is pursuing a master's degree in reading at Edinboro University. She works for the Crawford Central School District.
The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from Karns City High School and in 2002 from California University of Pennsylvania. He works for the Lakeview School District.
Following a Cancun, Mexico honeymoon, the couple is living in Greenville.
