Grove City College quarterback Bradford Clark and free safety Ross Trimmer were named Presidents' Athletic Conference Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively.

Clark carried six times for 118 yards and two touchdowns and passed for 83 yards and two scores in the Wolverines' 63-6 football win Saturday at Bethany (W.Va.).

Trimmer had eight tackles and two interceptions, returning one 100 yards for a touchdown.

Senior Chad Hartzell, a graduate of Slippery Rock High School, finished in eighth place overall at the Duquesne University Cross Country Invitational last weekend.His time of 26 minutes, 42 seconds was just 14 seconds behind teammate Kyle Ridington, who was fourth.The Red Flash men's squad finished second out of seven teams.

John Aubrey Sr. of Aubrey's Dubbs Dred in Butler is tied for third place after one round at the Dick's Sporting Goods Invitational Tour Championship at Indiana Country Club Monday.Aubrey fired a 1-under par 34-36-70, two strokes behind leader Gordon Vietmeier.Saxonburg's Joe Boros of Treesdale Golf and Country Club is tied for 13th (38-36-74).The second round will be played today.
