7:19 p.m. Thursday - A vehicle driven by Edgar Alvarez, 35, of Bronx, N.Y., collided on South Main Street with a legally parked vehicle owned by Cheryl Graham, no age given, of Natrona Heights and an illegally parked vehicle owned by Patrick McCarren, no age given, of 940 Mercer Road.Thursday - Chad Neff, 32, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and simple assault after he struck Beth Brown, 28, in the stomach at her home at 240 Maple Ave. and then left the scene in a vehicle. Brown, who is pregnant, complained of stomach pain and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, where her condition was unknown as of Saturday morning.Neff was arraigned by District Justice Joe O'Donnell and was released on bond from Butler County Prison.

1 a.m. Wednesday - James Turney, 21, of Worthington was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after he was found sleeping in the driver's seat of his car parked at the intersection of Route 4010 and Deer Park Road in East Franklin Township.Oct. 1 - Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the possible possession of child pornography that is suspected of having been downloaded off of the Internet at the Elderton Junior-Senior High School.According to the police report, it appears that some files of child pornography may have been downloaded onto a school computer. State Police Computer Crime Unit officers will attempt to figure out exactly how the files were downloaded. The report said Armstrong School District officials were cooperating.Possession of child pornography is classified as a third degree felony for a first violation punishable by fines up to $15,000 and up to seven years in jail.

2:20 p.m. Monday - Vehicles driven by Richard Annarumo, 49, of New Castle and Deborah Griffen, 44, of Grove City collided on Route 208 in Springfield Township. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.10 p.m. July 16 - A known Harrisville man passed three bad checks at the Grove City Wal-Mart on Route 58 in Pine Township. The investigation continues.
