Nicole Maccini and Leon Moore, both of Bristow, Va., exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. Aug. 6 in the Garden Beach Gazebo of the Westin Resort in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. The Rev. Philip Chalker officiated. A reception was held at Maggiano's in McClean, Va.

The bride is the daughter of Peter Jr. and Maria Maccini of Merrimack, N.H. Parents of the bridegroom are Ronald and Shirley Moore of Butler.

The bride graduated in 1998 from Merrimack High School and in 2001 from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor's degree in political science. She works for the National Rifle Association, Institute for Legislative Action in Fairfax, Va.

The bridegroom graduated in 1995 from Butler High School and in 2000 from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in education. He works for the Loudoun County Public Schools in Loudoun County, Va.

After honeymooning in St. John, the couple is living in Bristow, Va.
