Dawn Evans and Barry Roof, both of Charlotte, N.C., were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at The Mansion in Butler. The Honorable Daniel Bricmont officiated. A reception followed at The Mansion.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Jean Evans of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are David and Birdie Roof of Pittsburgh.

The honor attendant was Brianne Ibanes of Seattle. Bridesmaids were Teresa Rosenberg of Seattle; Holly Davis of Louisville, Ky.; and Andrea Roof of Centerville, Ohio. The flower girl was Alison Davis of Louisville.

Performing the duties of best man was Stephan McCarron of South Park. Ushers included Joshua Japalucci and Vincent Laboon, both of Pittsburgh, and Keith Tatka of Chicago.

The bride graduated in 1996 from Knoch High School and in 2000 from La Roche College, earning a bachelor's degree in graphic design. She is the graphic production manager for Springs Industries in Rock Hill, S.C.

The bridegroom graduated in 1995 from Kettering-Fairmont High School and in 1999 from the University of Pittsburgh, earning a bachelor's degree in finance. He is a financial analyst for Royal Sun and Alliance in Charlotte.

Following a Costa Rican honeymoon, the couple is making their home in Charlotte.
