Tempich, Johnson
Maegan Tempich of Cranberry Township and Mark Johnson Jr. of Butler exchanged wedding vows at 2 p.m. July 3 at St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church in Cranberry Township. The Rev. Charles Bober officiated. A reception followed at The Chadwick in Wexford.
The bride is the daughter of Alan and Louanne Tempich of Cranberry Township. Parents of the bridegroom are Mark and Carol Johnson of Butler.
The maid of honor was Courtney Tempich of Cranberry Township. Colleen Miller of Butler was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Shane Jurecko and Marsha Belt, both of Cranberry Township; Kelly Cowan, Sara Dicicco and Brianne Tempich, all of Ontario, Canada; Rachel Toma of Ohio; Laura Russo of Butler; and Nicole Saeler of Chicora. Junior bridesmaids were Brittney Tempich and Kailey Zittlau, both of Ontario. The flower girl was Allyx Zittlau of Ontario.
Performing the duties of best man was Michael Johnson of Butler. Ushers included Ernie Miller, Doug Mason Jr., Chaz Dumbaugh, Jon Eichner, Casey McGraw and Tim Ambroziack, all of Butler; Matthew Tempich of Cranberry Township; Sammy Miller of Hanover, Md.; and Ryan Tempich of Ontario. Junior ushers were Steven Tempich of Ontario and Alijah Robinson of Butler. The ring bearer was Cole Eichner of Butler.
The bride graduated in 1996 from Seneca Valley High School. She is currently attending Slippery Rock University, where she plans to complete a master's degree in education in December. She works as the director and head teacher at Tender Tots Preschool.
The bridegroom graduated in 1997 from Butler High School and in 2001 from Slippery Rock University. He works as a programmer analyst at Jennmar in Pittsburgh.
Following a Western Caribbean Cruise honeymoon, the couple is residing in Butler.
