Monday - Keith Pack, 26, of 143 Fourth Ave., Apt. 1 was arrested for allegedly taking a .38-caliber pistol, $40 and a bicycle from the Miller Avenue home of Becky Fair. Pack was arraigned on a theft charge and placed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.Monday - Police reported that two 15-year-old boys - one from Butler and the other from Lyndora - were charged with criminal mischief for allegedly vandalizing a soda machine on Center Avenue.12:47 p.m. Friday - A tractor-trailer driven by Randall Yeager, 22, of Adams Township collided with a car while making a turn at East Wayne and South Main streets. Kimberly Tavarer, 43, of Butler was driving the car.12:40 p.m. Aug. 29 - A van driven by Lee Schriver, 18, of Valencia and a car driven by Dawnlyn Litz, 37, of Butler collided at Mercer and West New Castle streets. Cameron Litz, 6, of Butler, a passenger in the car, suffered minor injuries.

6:50 a.m. Saturday - Cathleen McLaughlin reported someone overnight took 20 compact discs from a vehicle parked at her North Division Street home. The CDs are valued at more than $200.12:58 a.m. Thursday - Vehicles driven by Doug Marburger, 69, of Harmony and Jeanle Schaum, 50, of Zelienople collided on Main Street.10:22 a.m. Thursday - A motorcycle driven by Daniel Michael Rearick, 47, of Evans City and a vehicle driven by Florence Robinson, 83, of Zelienople collided on South Main Street. Rearick was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital by ambulance and treated for an ankle injury.

2 a.m. today - A sport utility vehicle driven by Carla Diehl, 22, of Butler struck an embankment and telephone junction box at Yellow Creek and Little Creek roads in Lancaster Township.7:35 a.m. Tuesday - A pickup truck driven by Mishelle Potter, 39, of Slippery Rock and a car driven by Danielle Flesko, 17, of Harrisville collided at Harmony and Keister roads in Slippery Rock Township. Potter, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a minor arm injury.
