Stephen D. Bodner, 21, of Pittsburgh was waived to court on seven counts selling or furnishing liquor or malt beverages to minors and seven counts furnishing alcohol or malt beverages after the Slippery Rock Police responded to a noise complaint April 24 at Bodner's residence at 626 Cross St. Bodner's arraignment is set for Oct. 12 at the Butler County Courthouse.
David C. Byrne, 41, of Lawrence, Kan., was waived to court on two counts driving under the influence and careless driving after being stopped July 25 at a sobriety checkpoint on Route 422 in Franklin Township. Byrne was released on his own recognizance. His arraignment is set for Oct. 12 at the Butler County Courthouse.
Damon Graham, 21, of 103 Stoneridge Blvd., Butler, was waived to court on five counts theft by deception, five counts forgery/authorized act in writing and five counts theft by unlawful taking after the theft of checks from his cousin, Amy C. Dixon, and her husband, David D. Dixon of 228 Currie Road, Worth Township. State police filed the complaint after the Dixons reported Graham had falsified their signatures on five blank checks between June 16 and 24. The checks totaled $960. Graham was released on his own recognizance with the stipulation he have no contact with the victims. His arraignment is set for Oct. 12 at the Butler County Courthouse.
Shawn E. Vangorder, 33, of Ellwood City was waived to court on two counts driving under the influence and careless driving after a one-vehicle accident June 27 on Currie Road in Worth Township. Vangorder was released on his own recognizance. His arraignment is set for Oct. 12 at the Butler County Courthouse.
David J. Malesh, 43, of 404 Hall Road, Butler, was waived to court on two counts driving under the influence, improper stop, disregarding a traffic lane and turning movements and required signal after a traffic stop July 13 on Unionville Road in Franklin Township. Malesh was released on his own recognizance. His arraignment is set for Oct. 12 at the Butler County Courthouse.
Larry J. Massella, 51, of Slippery Rock was held for court on charges of driving under the influence, exceeding the speed limit and three counts endangering the welfare of children after a traffic stop July 25 on Harmony Road in Slippery Rock Township. Massella was released on his own recognizance. His arraignment is set for Oct. 12 at the Butler County Courthouse.
Michael T. Cavallo, 31, of Collinswood, N.J., was waived to court on two counts driving under the influence and careless driving after being stopped at a sobriety checkpoint July 25 on Route 422 in Franklin Township. Cavallo was released on a $1,000 bond. His arraignment is set for Oct. 18 at the Butler County Courthouse.
James E. Barr, 79, of New Brighton was held for court on charges of indecent exposure, open lewdness, disorderly conduct and obscene language after a complaint from Moraine Campground visitors that Barr was exposing himself in public. Barr was released on his own recognizance. His arraignment is set for Oct. 12 at the Butler County Courthouse.
Amanda L. Miller, 23, of 729 Buttercup Lane, Slippery Rock, was waived to court on charges of possession of marijuana after police stopped to investigate her car Aug. 5, which was parked after hours in a business parking lot at Route 8 and Hall Road in Brady Township. Miller was released on her own recognizance. Her arraignment is set for Oct. 12 at the Butler County Courthouse.
Thomas J. Martin Jr., 38, of Grove City was waived to court on two counts driving under the influence, failure to keep right, driving at an unsafe speed and restrictions on alcoholic beverages after a traffic stop July 30 on Park Road in Worth Township. Martin was released on his own recognizance. His arraignment is set for Oct. 12 at the Butler County Courthouse.
Danny Johnson, 48, of Morgantown, W.Va., was waived to court on charges of writing bad checks and theft by deception after Samuel J. Vastana of McClymonds Supply and Transit on Currie Road in Muddy Creek Township reported Johnson had written a $5,000 bad check April 19 to the company. Vastana filed the complaint. Johnson was released on his own recognizance. His arraignment is set for Oct. 12 at the Butler County Courthouse.
