2:32 a.m. Sunday - Kenneth Kaib, 48, of 223 Oak St. was arrested for driving under the influence after his car struck a another car parked on St. Mary's Street. Nancy Kalac of East Butler owns the car struck in the crash.12:01 a.m. Sunday - Two men were cited after police saw them fighting on North Washington Street.Charged were Wayne Edwards Sr., 46, of 401 N. Washington St., Butler; and Kim Paul Sankey, 25, of 528 Branchton Road, Slippery Rock.Police said Edwards was holding a knife and Sankey had a tire iron when officers broke up the fight. Officers searched Edwards and found him with three suspected crack pipes.Both men are charged with simple assault, possession of prohibited offensive weapons and disorderly conduct. Edwards also was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.11:30 p.m. Friday - Pickup trucks driven by Sean Kirk, 18, and Michael Ordy, 40, both of Center Township, collided at West Jefferson and South Chestnut streets. Zane Kerner, 20, of Butler, a passenger in Kirk's pickup, suffered minor injuries. Kirk was cited for a traffic signal violation.

5:45 p.m. Monday - Thomas McDeavitt, no age given, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck struck a culvert and tree along Route 8 near Boy Scout Camp Bucoco in Slippery Rock Township. McDeavitt, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.2:05 p.m. Monday - Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at Holyoke Road and Orchard Lane in Center Township.The crash occurred when cars driven by Myra Lahey, 61, and Norvin Davidson, 82, both of Butler, collided at the intersection. The collision spun Lahey's car into a tree.A passenger in Davidson's car, Charlotte Davidson, 81, of Butler, suffered moderate injuries. Both drivers and Thomas Kissel, 69, of Butler, a passenger in Lahey's car, suffered minor injuries. All four occupants, who were wearing seat belts, were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
