6:04 p.m. Friday - Vehicles driven by Elizabeth Donahey, 68, of Indianola, Allegheny County, and John Bono, 52, of Sarver collided when Donahey pulled out of a parking lot on Center Avenue.3:50 p.m. Friday - Donald Myers was arrested and charged with robbery after he tried to steal a hoagie from the Friedman's store at the Greater Butler Mart. He was arraigned by District Justice Kevin O'Donnell and was in Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,000 bond.6:11 p.m. Thursday - Bobbi Jo George, 26, of 954 E. Jefferson St. was charged with an accident involving personal injury after Damien Large, 2, of 324 E. Locust St. fell out of her vehicle as she turned off West New Castle Street onto Hansen Avenue.George, who fled the scene of the accident after she put the child back in the car, later told police she had secured Damien in his car seat. Police said the child had several injuries.9:30 a.m. Tuesday - Kenneth Golikat, 50, of 227A Cecelia St. lost control of his vehicle on East Brady Street and struck a parking sign and utility pole.6:30 p.m. Aug. 28 - Carl Volk, 25, of Pittsburgh was arrested and charged with burglary and receiving stolen property after he broke into the residence of Ashlee Fazzino, 22, of 401 W. New Castle St., Apt. 1, and stole several DVDs.According to the police report, Fazzino noticed the DVDs were missing and called police, who traced them to EB Games in Butler Commons where they had been sold. Volk eventually confessed to breaking into Fazzino's home and taking the DVDs to sell in order to buy heroin.Volk was arraigned by District Justice Kevin O'Donnell and was in Butler County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bond.

Sept. 1 - Virginia Kerr, 53, of 419 W. Main St. reported that numerous unauthorized transactions totaling several thousand dollars had occurred with her bank account. Police are investigating the incident.Aug. 31 - Police received reports that an undisclosed amount of money was taken from an office area at Coffaro's Pizza on North Broad Street.Aug. 30 - Von H. Argyle, 49, of 201 W. Washington Blvd. was arrested on charges of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and furnishing alcohol to a minor. The charges stem from an incident May 28 at his residence.Aug. 29 - Peter Louie, 19, of Syosset, N.Y., reported that a Compaq laptop computer and accessories valued at $1,800 were taken from his room at 115 Lincoln Ave. at Grove City College.Aug. 29 - Clint Stewart, 20, of 200 Campus Drive reported that his Compaq laptop computer was stolen from his dorm room sometime that day. The computer is valued at $1,500.Aug. 29 - Jared A. Harvey, 18, of Volant and an underage female from Grove City were arrested for underage drinking in the 100 block of North Center Street.Aug. 28 - Police received reports that soft windows on a Jeep Wrangler belonging to John VanTil of North Broad Street were slashed between Aug. 27 and the time of the report. The damage occurred while the vehicle was parked at VanTil's residence. A damage estimate was not available.Aug. 26 - Donald R. Brathwaite, 38, was arrested as a fugitive from justice after he appeared at the Grove City Police Department seeking assistance. His last known residence was in Danville, Ill. He was arraigned and lodged in Mercer County Jail.Aug. 23 - Police received reports that a red Grand Am with damage to the left front bumper drove through a yard at 440 Memorial Ave. and hit garbage cans at the end of a driveway.Aug. 20 - Donald R. Tillar, 26, of 112 Suburban Lane, Slippery Rock, was cited for a parking violation and for violating a borough ordinance on junked or abandoned vehicles in an incident in which a vehicle was left in Cunningham Mill parking lot.

Aug. 28 - John Gray, 19, of Mount Pleasant was charged with driving under the influence, minor prohibited from operating a motor vehicle with alcohol in his system, limitations in backing up, accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying false identification after officers responded to reports of an accident in the Sheetz parking lot.Aug. 28 - Charles Mitchell, 20, of Mount Pleasant was charged with underage drinking after police responded to reports of an accident in the Sheetz parking lot. Mitchell was the passenger in one of the vehicles.

10:50 a.m. Friday - Vehicles driven by Ruth Hancheck, no age given, and Ruth Spack, no age given, both of Butler, collided when Hancheck ran a red light at the intersection of Route 68 and Kriess Road in Connoquenessing Township.7:25 a.m. Friday - Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 8 and Church Road in Penn Township.The police said Otto Heitzer, no age given, of Butler was seriously injured, while Timothy Farneth Sr., no age given, of New Kensington and passenger Matthew Farneth, no age given, of Curtisville, Allegheny County, received minor injuries.Heitzer was flown to Allegheny General Hospital. His condition was unavailable Saturday morning. The Farneths were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, where they were treated and released.

7 a.m. Friday - Someone stole a 7-foot-long piece of wood and a metal bench from the sidewalk of the Grove City Prime Outlets in Springfield Township.
