McAfee, Wingard
Ellen McAfee and Arnold "A.J." Wingard, both of Kittanning were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. June 26 on the grounds of the Arnold Bish Farm near Kellersburg. The Rev. Susan Irons of the Evangelical Church of Worthington officiated. The bride was presented for marriage by her son, Skyler McAfee. A reception followed at the farm.
The bride is the daughter of Mike Fornelli of Adkins, Texas, and Carol Fornelli of Hilliards. Parents of the bridegroom are Harvey and Hilma Wingard of Kittanning.
The maid of honor was Jenn Cox of Butler. The flower girl was Kaitlyn Traister of Hawkville, escorted by the Wingard's dog, Kelli.
Serving his son as best man was Harvey Wingard. Ushers included Grant Traister of Hawkville and Alan Gutknecht of Fawn Township. The ring bearer was the Wingard family's dog, Stormy, escorted by A.J. Fornelli of Hilliards.
The bride graduated in 1991 from Butler High School and attended Butler County Community College. She works in the medical assistance transportation program of the Armstrong County Community Action Agency.
The bridegroom is a 1987 graduate of Springdale High School. He also attended Penn State and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where he graduated in 1992. He works as a graphic artist at the Butler Eagle.
The couple is making their home in Kittanning.
