2:54 a.m. Sunday - A 15-year-old driver and her 13-year-old passenger were cited following a traffic stop on East Brady Street.The 15-year-old Zelienople girl was cited for driving without a license and underage drinking. The passenger, a Butler girl, was cited for underage drinking.Police said the older girl was driving the vehicle owned by the younger girl's mother, without the owner's permission.
1:27 a.m. Aug. 26 - Cory Douglas Chamberlain, 23, of Hazel Street reported while he was walking home from a tavern, he was assaulted by a patron leaving Savannah's Bar on West New Castle Street. Employees at the bar said the unidentified man became upset after earlier being ordered to leave the bar because he was too intoxicated.
7:24 a.m. Monday - A car driven by Jason Barkand, 25, of Cabot and a sport utility vehicle driven by Mark Rollinson, 28, of Apollo, Armstrong County, collided on Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township. Barkand was taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.4:15 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by David Tessmer, no age given, of Allison Park, Allegheny County, struck a utility pole along West Park Road in Muddy Creek Township. Tessmer, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.3:15 a.m. Sunday - Robin Scott, no age given, of Karns City was arrested for driving under the influence at Route 68 and Medical Center Road in Chicora.1 a.m. Sunday - Adam Nonnemacher reported someone broke into his New Castle Road apartment in Slippery Rock Township and took $3,500.8:27 a.m. Aug. 24 - A dump truck driven by Steven Meyer, 51, of Titusville, Crawford County, struck two trees along Route 308 in Venango County. Meyer, who was treated for a broken knee at United Community Hospital in Grove City, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
1:25 p.m. Sunday - A motorcycle driven by Robert Davila, no age given, and a car driven by Andrea Poorman, no age given, both of Kittanning, collided on Church Road in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. Davila, who was wearing a helmet, suffered unknown injuries.Wednesday - Unidentified juveniles broke into a barn, took an all-terrain vehicle and rode the vehicle around before returning it to the barn on Church Road in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.Russell Kennedy, who owns the property, said he knows the suspects, whom police did not identify.
