12:53 a.m. Saturday - Lynda Kerry, 48, of 312 Liberty St. was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Diamond Street.7:07 p.m. Friday - Daniel Nally, 52, of 124 Fourth Ave. was arrested on an outstanding warrant and placed in Butler County Prison.2:07 p.m. Monday - A vehicle driven by Afton Tronzo, 20, of Parker struck a vehicle driven by Deana Ketchem, 56, of 220 Brown Ave. on Route 8 near Roosevelt Boulevard.
Aug. 10 - Terran Smith, 22, of 123 Sentinel Hall, Slippery Rock University, reported $150 worth of makeup had been taken between Aug. 8 and 10 from the hall restroom.Aug. 9 - Christopher Huellen, 20, of 431 Centerville Pike, Slippery Rock, reported the contents of his wallet, a CD case, 75 CDs, a Phoenix Gold amplifier and a cell phone were stolen from his vehicle at Giant Eagle on Aug. 4. The items along with cash in the wallet were valued at $650.Aug. 2 - Assorted tools were reported stolen from Thompson Electric in Slippery Rock. The theft occurred sometime between July 30 and Aug. 2. A value estimate was not available.
Tuesday - Police recovered a stolen truck in a parking lot off Park Street. The vehicle was reported stolen from Pine Township the week before to the state police. Douglas Filer of 801 Liberty St. owns the vehicle.Tuesday - Jared A. Harvey, 18, of Volant was charged with driving under the influence, underage drinking and traffic offenses after a traffic stop on Woodland Avenue.Monday - Jason S. Curley, 34, of 319 N. Center St. was charged with corruption of minors and furnishing alcohol to minors after an incident March 19 at his residence.Aug. 21 - James Baker, 43, of 330 W. Poplar St. was arrested on a warrant for bad checks.Aug. 20 - A 15-year-old female from Grove City was charged with selling or furnishing alcohol to minors after police learned the girl had sold alcohol to other minors between July 4 and Aug. 1.Aug. 19 - Todd P. Pritchard, 20, of Pittsburgh was charged with driving under the influence, underage drinking and related summary traffic offenses after a traffic stop on South Center Street.Aug. 19 - Police received a report that a blue and silver Jeremy McGrath special edition bicycle was stolen from the 100 block of Grant Street.Aug. 15 - A car driven by Dorothy Grace, 65, of East Gilmore Road, Pine Township, and a van driven by Robert Cummings, 51, of Jackson Center collided. Grace's car was thrown into a utility pole before hitting a parked vehicle. Grace was treated at United Community Hospital. Cummings was not injured.Aug. 12 - Three ceramic pots and a wooden cardinal were stolen from the porch of a home in the 300 block of College Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to call the police.Aug. 11 - These items were taken from Hicks Dormitory on the Grove City College campus: a hiking backpack valued at $200, a hand-held computer valued at $300, 150 CDs valued at $2,250 and a CD folder valued at $15. The theft occurred between Aug. 3 and 11. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the police.Aug. 10 - The Church of the Beloved Disciple on North Broad Street was burglarized. Nothing was stolen. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the police.Aug. 10 - Someone took $140 from a vehicle in the parking lot at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Columbia Avenue. Bradley Hoffman of 610 Ridgeway Ave owns the vehicle.Aug. 5 - Police filed a theft of service charge against Brian Wayne Montgomery, 27, of Brent Road after he failed to pay a $576 bill at the Penn Grove Hotel on Pine Street.Aug. 5 - A purse containing cosmetics valued at $100 was taken from a Jafra Cosmetic supply tent at a street fair between Aug. 5 and 8. The theft occurred while the fair was closed.
5 p.m. Thursday - Someone stole a black nylon wallet from Marsha Titus, 25, of Greenville while she was in KB Toys in Springfield Township.
