Cassandra Schmidt of Butler and Kirk List of New Castle were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. July 3 at Savannah United Methodist Church in New Castle. The Rev. Mark Goswick officiated. A reception followed at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle.

The bride is the daughter of Donald Roach of Claysville and Patricia VanDale of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Jerry List of Bradenton, Fla., and Gale List of New Castle.

The honor attendant was Adria Chuba of Butler. Bridesmaids included Erica Leonberg of Butler and Karla Fedrizzi of New Castle. The miniature bridesmaid was the daughter of the bride, Corrissa Schmidt of Butler.

Performing the duties of best men were Todd Adkins, Ryan Miles and Bob Fedrizzi, all of New Castle. Ushers included Matt Blinn and John Morgan, both of New Castle. The miniature groomsman was Jeffrey McFarland of New Castle.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Butler High School. She is employed at Penn Telecom of Butler.

The groom graduated from Laurel High School in 1991 and from Penn State University in 1996. He is employed at AG Edwards in New Castle.

Following a honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls, Canada, the couple is residing in New Castle.
