12:56 a.m. Tuesday - Kathleen Buczko, 45, of 416 Brown Ave. was charged with possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on Brown Avenue. A 17-year-old Evans City girl, whom police did not identify, a passenger in the car, was cited for underage drinking.Tuesday - Betty Turpin said someone between 6 and 9:15 a.m. took a blue and yellow, 20-inch, Next Generation mountain bike from her Maple Avenue home.

12:56 p.m. Tuesday - Three people were injured when a car driven by Teresa Schuller, 43, of West Deer, Allegheny County, struck the rear of a car driven by Logan Giger, 16, of Valencia.Giger and his mother, Lynne Giger, 42, of Valencia, a passenger in his car, were taken with minor injuries to UPMC Passavant/Cranberry. Schuller, who was cited for careless driving, was taken with minor injuries to St. Margaret's Hospital in Aspinwall, Allegheny County.

5:30 p.m. Tuesday - Three people were injured in a four-vehicle collision on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township.The crash occurred when a pickup truck driven by Jon Mason, no age given, of Renfrew struck the rear of a pickup driven by Eric Warburton, no age given, of Karns City.The collision forced Warburton's vehicle into the rear of a car driven by Nancy Antill, no age given, of Renfrew. Antill's vehicle, in turn, was pushed into the rear of a car driven by Leo Kaufman, no age given, of Pittsburgh.Warburton and Antill, both wearing seat belts, were taken with moderate injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital. A passenger in Mason's pickup, Carrie Mason, no age given, of Renfrew, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.9:25 p.m. Monday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Lisa Preston, 35, of Clearfield Township veered off Mitchell Hill Road in Summit Township and struck an embankment. Preston suffered minor injuries.7 p.m. Monday - A car driven by John Bedner, 38, of Evans City veered off Shannon Road in Connoquenessing Township and struck an embankment and a tree. Bedner, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Thursday - An undisclosed amount of money was taken between Aug. 17 and Thursday in a burglary at the Lardintown Road home of Earnest Zilka Jr. in Clinton Township.Aug. 18 - A purse containing about $60 was taken Aug. 17 or 18 in a burglary at the Panther Lane home of Shirley Bieber in Connoquenessing Township.

Tuesday - Police charged Jared Thomas, no age given, of Sigel with driving under the influence stemming from an Aug. 6 traffic stop on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.Monday - Vandals between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday broke one window and scratched eight others at the Buffalo Elementary School in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.
