Heather Mlikan of Butler and Alan Hipps of Clearfield exchanged wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. May 22 at Meridian United Presbyterian Church in Butler. The Rev. Steve Cahoon officiated. The couple greeted guests during a reception at the Carousel Shelter in Alameda Park.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Ramona Mlikan of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Ferman and Linda Hipps of Clearfield.

The bridesmaids included Julia Yoest and Rachel Yoest, both of Gibsonia, and Beth Hipps of Clearfield. The flower girls were Jaqueline Adler of Butler and Julia Mlikan of Japan.

Groomsmen included Todd Hipps of Clearfield and Michael Mlikan and A.J. Allhouse, both of Butler. The ring bearer was Micah Schirra of Renfrew.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and a 2004 graduate of Butler County Community College. She works at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Revena, Ohio.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Clearfield High School and a 2004 graduate of Butler County Community College. He plans to attend classes at Kent State University in the fall of 2005. He currently works for Best Buy in Tallmadge, Ohio.

After honeymooning in the Poconos, the couple is making their home in Tallmadge.
