Daugherty, Stempka

Honey Daugherty and Bryan Stempka, both of Candor, N.C., were united in marriage at 12:30 p.m. June 18 at St. Francis by the Lake in Hendersonville, N.C. The Rev. Chad O'Shea officiated. A reception followed at Camp E-Toh-Kalu in Hendersonville.

The bride is the daughter of Harold and Karen Daugherty of West Sunbury. Parents of the bridegroom are John and Linda Stempka of Erie.

The maid of honor was Kasey Daugherty of West Sunbury.

Performing the duties of best man was John R. Stempka of Erie. Ushers included John J. Stempka and David Stempka, both of Erie.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Moniteau High School and a 1998 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She is currently employed at Eckerd Youth Alternatives in Candor, N.C.

The groom graduated from McDowell High School in 1998 and from Elon University in 2002, he is also employed at Eckerd Youth Alternatives.

The couple took a driving tour of New England for a honeymoon. They are residing in Candor.
