Amy Byers of Radford, Va., and Barry Jarrett of Collinsville, Va., were united in marriage at 6 p.m. June 18 at The Atrium in Prospect. The Rev. N. Graham Standish and John Sloat officiated. A reception was held at The Atrium.

The bride is the daughter of William and Sallie Byers of Zelienople. Parents of the bridegroom are James and Lois Jarrett of Bassett, Va.

The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Jennifer Byers of Zelienople. Bridesmaids were Theresa Farrell of South Hill, Va., and Melissa Bungar of Zelienople.

Performing the duties of best man for his son was James Jarrett of Bassett. Ushers were Mike Keffer, Mark Swain and Matthew Swain, all of Collinsville; and Robert Shorter of Rocky Mount, Va. The ring bearer was Austin Skeens of Christiansburg, Va.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and a 1998 graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University. She works at Bassett High School.

The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of Bassett High School and a 1994 graduate of Radford University. He works for Branch Banking and Trust in Martinsville, Va.

After honeymooning in Bermuda, the couple is living in Collinsville.
