John and Leanna Gray of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a surprise reception at the Atrium in Prospect given by their daughters.

The former Leanna Wimer married Gray on Aug. 9, 1954, at the home of their pastor in Sharon.

They have three daughters, Patricia Racine of Cranberry Township and Pamela Gray and Jody Schlossnagel, both of Grove City. They also have two grandchildren.

Gray is retired from General Electric in Grove City.

Mrs. Gray is a retired homemaker.

The couple attends North Main Street Church of God, where they are involved in the Keenagers Sunday school class.
