Wilson, Weiland
Beth Wilson of Slippery Rock and Derek Weiland of Butler exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. June 19 at First United Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. David Panther officiated. A reception followed at the Vagabond Center in Lyndora.
The bride is the daughter of Dean and Audrey Wilson of Slippery Rock. Parents of the bridegroom are Wayne Weiland, and Lenny and Tammy Gamble, all of Butler.
The maids of honor were Sarah Collins of Butler and Marybeth Yard of Harrisville. Bridesmaids were Jamie Gander of Jackson Center, Amy Corso of Butler, Brandy Wallace of Harrisville, Jenny Lee Mihalik of Slippery Rock, Jennifer Coles of Dravosburg and Andrea Mankey of Glenshaw. The flower girl was Maria Lucas of Butler.
Serving as best men were Chuck Lunn and Josh Brown, both of Butler. Ushers were Adam Fencil, Justin Sarvey, Don Kuhrt, Denny Karenbauer and Adam Boosel, all of Butler and Chris Rozic of Slippery Rock. The ring bearer was Isaiah Lucas of Butler.
The bride graduated in 2000 from Slippery Rock High School and in 2004 from Slippery Rock University. She is a substitute teacher for the Slippery Rock School District.
The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Butler High School and in 2004 from Butler County Community College, Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He works for Marmon/Keystone in East Butler.
The couple is making their home in Butler after honeymooning in Aruba.
