9:57 p.m. Thursday - A neighbor reported that someone tried to break into an unoccupied mobile home at 603 Country Vue Court. The witness told police he saw two vehicles leaving the scene.Police said the trailer, which was unoccupied for sometime, had a broken window at the rear entrance. It was not immediately known if anything was taken.
Monday - Several undisclosed items valued at $10,000 were taken between July 17 and Monday in a burglary at the Watters Station Road home of Steven Santoro in Forward Township.Monday - Someone smashed the window of a vehicle at Widenhofer's Garage on Route 422 East in Summit Township and took a Pioneer stereo valued at $150. Sonya Trimbur of Butler owns the vehicle.9:30 a.m. Saturday - About $750 and a maroon, 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass was taken in a burglary at JDS Used Cars at Kittanning Pike in Parker Township.12:10 p.m. Friday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Thomas Mavor, no age given, of Grove City and a car driven by Thomas Kidder, no age given, of Cowansville, Armstrong County, collided at Route 422 and Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.Aug. 10 - A diamond ring with a gold band was reportedly taken between Aug. 4 and Aug. 10 from a pickup truck at Route 422 in Franklin Township. Patty Trufley of Butler owns the ring.
Saturday - About $250 was taken after someone smashed a glass door and broke into the Kittanning Country Club on Old Route 28 in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. The burglary occurred between midnight and 7:50 a.m.
Sunday - An undisclosed quantity of beer was taken from a garage in a burglary between 9:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the North Liberty Road home of Dale McKinley in Pine Township, Mercer County.
