Cynthia Clifford of Jeffersonville, Ind. and Christopher Davis of Butler were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Aug. 7 at St. Fidelis Parish in Butler. The Rev. James Murphy officiated. A reception followed at Hindman Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Rosemarie Clifford of Jeffersonville. Parents of the bridegroom are Wesley and Denise Davis of Butler.

The honor attendant was Barbara Mitchell of Jeffersonville. Bridesmaids were Cassie Nichols of New Albany, Ind.; Misty Peters of Hardinsburg, Ind.; Charlsie Fulmore of Louisville, Ky.; and Jamie Mercer of Bardstown, Ky. The flower girl was Kylie Vissing of Jeffersonville.

Serving as best man was Wesley Davis Jr. of Carnegie. Ushers were Paul Schneider, Brian Pakutz and Alex Ravas, all of Butler and Frank Brown of Harrisburg. The ring bearer was Ryan Fischer of Butler.

The bride graduated in 1999 from Jeffersonville High School.

The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Butler High School. He is serving in the United States Army and is stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky.

The couple is living at Fort Campbell, Ky.
