Clair "Irene" Doutt of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday recently with a family dinner at the South Butler Fire Hall.

The former Clair Martin was born Aug. 3, 1914 in Butler. She married Ralph Doutt on Sept. 11, 1929. He is deceased.

She has five children, John Doutt, Richard Doutt, Gary Doutt and George Doutt, all of Butler; and Eileen Graham of Carlisle. Three children, William Doutt, Norman Doutt and Terrance Doutt, are deceased.

She also has 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Doutt is a homemaker. She is a member of Butler Methodist Church and a life member of both the South Butler Ladies Auxiliary and the VFW Post 249 Ladies Auxiliary.
