4:48 p.m. Friday - Pamela Mohn, 41, of 405 Broad St. lost control of her vehicle on Federal Street and struck a utility pole.11:20 a.m. Friday - Mary Rice, no age given, of 313 N. Monroe St. was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child after police found her three children locked in their bedrooms.According to the police report the police responded to the home and found the children banging on the bedroom windows and asking for help. Police then knocked on the front door and received no answer.Police then went around to the back of the house and gained entrance. They found Rice sleeping and the children in the bedrooms.According to the police report the children were forced to use the bedrooms as a bathroom, creating an unsanitary condition.Charges were pending completion of the investigation.9:14 a.m. Wednesday - A vehicle driven by Mary Walsh, 39, of 104 Garfield Ave. struck a vehicle owned by Thomas Ward, no age given, of 330 E. Locust St. as it was parked on East Locust Street. Walsh left the scene of the accident but was followed by a witness who wrote down Walsh's license plate number. She later admitted she hit Ward's vehicle.
7:45 a.m. Friday - Rachel Snyder, 17, no address given, lost control of her vehicle on Freeport Road in Clinton Township, left the roadway and struck an embankment.Thursday - David Gifford, 32, of Karns City told police someone stole his silver 1995 Subaru Legacy valued at $4,000 from the Indspec parking lot in Petrolia.
8 p.m. Aug. 8 - Keith Brooks, 33, of Sandy Lake told police someone stole a coin collection and three handguns from his residence.
