Besterman, Potocnak

Amy Besterman and Michael Potocnak, both of Sarver exchanged wedding vows at 4:30 p.m. April 3 at Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver. A reception followed at the Tanglewood Center in Lyndora.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas Besterman of Blawnox and Virginia Besterman of Sarver. Parents of the bridegroom are Gerald and Patricia Potocnak of Sarver.

The honor attendant was Sara Scott of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Susan Fischer of Verona and Rachael Potocnak and Leah Weleski, both of Sarver. The flower girl was Rachel Lefever of Slippery Rock.

Performing the duties of best man was Harmon Myers of South Buffalo. Groomsmen included Christopher Potocnak of Ford City, and Jeremy Potocnak and David Besterman, both of Sarver. The ring bearer was Tyler Potocnak of Ford City.

The bride graduated in 1998 from Freeport High School and in 2002 from Grove City College. She works for Citizens Bank in Butler.

The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Freeport High School and in 2002 from California (Pa.) University. He works for S&S Construction. The couple is making their home in Brackenridge.
