Don and Shirley Gould of Butler celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Gould and the former Shirley Daubenspeck were married Aug. 6, 1954, at the Meridian United Presbyterian Church in Meridian.

They are the parents of Linda Smith of Herman. They also have four grandchildren. A son, Greg Gould, is deceased.

Gould is retired from Armco.

They are members of Meridian United Presbyterian Church.
