Michelle Allen of Monaca and Joseph Mariotti of Butler were united in marriage at 3 p.m. April 17 at the Church of the Living Word. The Rev. William McCommons officiated. A reception followed at the Meridian Veterans Club.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Jeanne Allen of Monaca. Parents of the groom are Joseph and Charity Mariotti of Butler.

The honor attendant was Brita Eddy of New Castle. Kameron Lansdowne and Melinda McMullen, both of New Castle, were the flower girls.

Performing the duties of best man was Curt Hazlett of Grove City.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Center High School and a 2001 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She works as a director of admissions and social service at Fairwinds Manor.

The groom is a 1987 graduate of Butler High School and a 1988 graduate of Ohio Diesel Technical School. He works as a CNC programmer and operator at Chick Machine.

Following an Eastern Caribbean cruise honeymoon trip, the couple is residing in Butler.
