Armella Ramsey of Sunnyview Nursing Home will celebrate her 100th birthday with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Lick Hill Fire Hall, 122 McClellan Drive.

The former Armella Osche was born Aug. 4, 1904, in Butler. She married Claude Ramsey Jan. 16, 1920. He is deceased.

She is the mother of Jack Ramsey of Leeper; Honey McClain of Monroe, Wash.; and Tootie Grossman and Peggy Hankey, both of Butler. She also has 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren. Two sons, Eugene Ramsey and Sonny Ramsey, a grandson and a great-great-grandchild are deceased.

Mrs. Ramsey is a retired homemaker. She is a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
