Monday - Brian Lipscomb, 33, of Herman was charged with driving under the influence stemming from a July 11 crash at the Huddle Lounge parking lot on West Cunningham Street.Police said the crash occurred when Lipscomb's vehicle struck a parked car. In addition to DUI, Lipscomb, who drove off after the crash, is charged with accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle.
6:55 p.m. July 21 - Cars driven by Sunil Mehta, no age given, of Grove City and Karen Taylor, no age given, of Wexford collided on Route 19.Police said the crash occurred after Mehta's northbound car made a wrong turn onto the off ramp of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The driver realized the error and swerved back onto Route 19 lane, hitting Taylor's car.
Friday - William Shick said someone overnight broke into a car at his Manor Drive home and took $20.6:05 p.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Richard Smith, 37, of Gibsonia and a sport utility vehicle driven by Kenneth Durett, 19, of Butler collided at Routes 8 and 228 East. Durett was cited for careless driving.
10:17 a.m. Monday - A car driven by Guido Trucco, 35, of Meadville, Crawford County, struck an embankment on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township.6:15 a.m. Monday - A car driven by Erica Stitt, 22, of Ford City, Armstrong County, skidded off rain-soaked Route 308 near Elliot Road in Center Township and struck a utility pole. Stitt was cited for driving too fast for conditions.5:20 a.m. Monday - A pickup truck driven by Deryl Switzer, 53, of Parker skidded off rain-soaked Route 38 in Concord Township and struck a guardrail.Monday - A refrigerator, range, microwave oven and dishwasher were taken from a new home under construction on Lardintown Road in Clinton Township. The theft occurred between 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday. Jaimi DiSanti owns the stolen property valued at $5,823.Monday - A gas-powered, 1993 Lincoln welder valued at $800 was taken from a construction site at West Jefferson and Reamer roads in Jefferson Township. The theft occurred between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 5:45 a.m. Monday. AK Construction, of Indiana, Indiana County, owns the stolen item.11 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by Scott Dodd, 31, of Bruin struck a guardrail at Bruin-Queenstown roads in Parker Township.
11:45 p.m. Thursday - Vehicles driven by Danny Short, 44, of Rimersburg and Shalis Ryan, 25, of East Brady collided on Route 68 in Madison Township, Clarion County. Both drivers were taken with minor injuries to Clarion Hospital.
5:30 a.m. Monday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Brandon Bryan, 23, of Kittanning struck a concrete barrier and rolled onto its side on Route 422 in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County.
